So I was working on a character design for Conceptart's character of the week.
The King of Spades:

But then the line art for him started to get tedious so I started to draw some loose drawings to relax my hand and got carried away in the process because of the music I was listening to:

Did some practice work of Dracula from Hotel Transylvania in there while I was at it. The girls are fun times with the lasso tool :D Darn you 80's music "Don't you, forget about me, don't don't don't" "Rain keeps falling, rain keeps falling, down, down, down" Haha

Chuck Jones Sugar Rush similarity

I was just drawing a Chuck Jones character from the Phantom Tollbooth when I noticed that the style is very similar to the Sugar Rush characters in Wreck-it Ralph. No disrespect because I love the movie and there are differences but y'gotta admit the styles are similar.



Evil Banner

More of Banner being a little more evil this time hopefully. He still turned out more boyish than evil but what the heck I like the way he looks anyway. Perhaps I'll try again in the future... since I like drawing him, this will most likely happen.

A character I've been working on for a while that relates to the villain Mad Madeline I posted before. He and his younger sister are left home alone with her and have to fend for their lives when she decides to kill them.

Late Night Jam Session

Listening to dance music at three in the morning does things to you.

Bill the Accountant

It's super Bill the Accountant! 

I don't know, coming up with superhero names was never my forte'. If I did name 

him something it would probably be a one word thing like "The Shadow" or "The Mask" 

but since both those are taken this will have to do for now. This was supposed to just be 

a warm up for CHOW but the warm up turned into four hours so decided to sort of finish it. 

There are a few things I need to fix still but it works for now. The guys at CTN told me I needed to slow down anyway and just take in the process . . . I had to keep reminding myself to do that while working on this XD 

Kind of has a Bruce Timm feeling 

but what do ya' want I kind of 

grew up on his toons.

Tried to do this generally fast in photoshop. You know how you start off with an idea and by the end you're like . . . this didn't turn out as sexy as I wanted, haha.

Well, whatever, it looks alright.
